Christmas may still be a few months away, but we’re already preparing for our 2026 Christmas Service! We’re excited for our Calvary Kids to sing again this year as we celebrate the birth of our Savior and King, Jesus Christ.

The Christmas choir is a wonderful opportunity for our children to worship Jesus and share the good news of His birth with our church family. We know the holiday season fills up quickly, so we’re sharing these details early to help you plan!

If your child would like to be part of the Calvary Kids Christmas Choir, please sign up by October 26 using the sheet on the table in the Kids Check-In area. After signing up, you’ll receive the rehearsal schedule and additional information by email.

Things to Know:

Who can participate: Children in kindergarten through fifth grade.

Rehearsal schedule: Rehearsals will take place on Sundays during November and December, with additional days possible as we prepare for the service.

Rehearsal length: Each rehearsal will last approximately 1–1½ hours.

Before drop-off: Please make sure your child has eaten before arriving.

Drop-off rehearsals: Parents will not stay during rehearsals so children can focus and we can make the most of our practice time.

Solo opportunities: Children interested in singing a solo will have the opportunity to audition.

Practice at home: Song information will be emailed to parents. Please help your child practice between rehearsals so they arrive prepared and confident.

Tweens (4th & 5th graders) and their parents are invited to join us at the Clayton Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 24, from 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Enjoy festival food, carnival rides, games, and time together with friends and family!

Meet us at the First National Bank parking lot on Main Street, near Horne Square in downtown Clayton. No registration is needed—just wear your VBS T-shirt and meet us there!

Festival admission is FREE! Ride tickets are available for purchase.

Please plan to purchase your own food, games, and ride tickets. Minors must remain with a parent or accompanying adult throughout the event.

Together, we’ll share the love of Christ through worship, Bible study, prayer, and fellowship—bringing encouragement and hope to the hearts of those in the community.

Whether you're gifted in singing, teaching, praying, or simply being present with a smile and a listening ear, there's a place for you to serve.

Church doesn’t have to end when the service does! On Sunday, November 8, our whole church family is invited to stay after service for an afternoon of food, fellowship, and fun outside.

Bring your own picnic lunch and drinks, along with a camp chair or blanket, and find a spot to settle in. It’s a chance to slow down, catch up with friends, meet someone new, and spend time together as a church family.

For those who want to play, we’ll have pickup soccer, basketball, Gaga ball, and cornhole. You’re just as welcome to sit, eat, and enjoy the conversation. Bring the whole family and make an afternoon of it!

The building will close at 2 PM, but everyone is welcome to continue hanging out outside after that. We hope you’ll stay and enjoy the day with your church family!

Strengthen your marriage, grow together, and keep Christ at the center. The Marriage Intensive serves as our church’s primary approach to biblical marriage counseling, offering couples intentional support through biblical teaching, prayer, practical exercises, and private guided discussions with one another.

This free, four-session course meets once a month for four months and is open to couples in every season of marriage. You do not have to be in crisis to attend.

Space is limited, and couples must commit to attending all four sessions and completing the assigned work. Registered couples will be contacted regarding availability and upcoming start dates.
