Young Adults Kickoff | August 28
It’s been a little while since we’ve gathered together, but we’re excited to announce that our Young Adults Ministry is relaunching! We’re looking forward to this new season and all that the Lord has in store as we grow in Christ, build meaningful relationships, and do life together.
We’re also excited to introduce our new Young Adult Ministry leaders: Kevyn & Nakia Brown and Ben Dohrmann!
We are incredibly blessed to have them step into this role. They are wonderful people who love Jesus and love others, and we’re excited to see how God leads them and uses them in this ministry.

Who is Young Adults for?
Young Adults is for single and married young adults, ages 18–29. Those who are 18 must be high school graduates. And bring somebody with you! Friends and family are welcome to join as long as they fall within the 18–29 age range.
For our kickoff night, we’ll have pizza, fellowship, introductions, and a short devotion. Kevyn, Nakia, and Ben will also share the heart and vision for the ministry and where we hope to go from here.
But we also want to hear from you! A big part of this first night will be listening to the hearts of our young adults. What do you need in this season of life? What would you like to study or learn together? What kinds of gatherings, activities, or opportunities would help you grow? How can this ministry best encourage you and point you toward Jesus?
We don’t simply want to fill a calendar with events—we want to build a ministry where young adults can grow in their relationship with Jesus, develop genuine Christian community, and encourage one another through this unique season of life.
Whether you’ve been part of Young Adults before or this will be your first time, we’d love for you to join us for the kickoff!

Men's Breakfast Cancelled | September 5

Corporate Prayer | September 6
Join us for Corporate Prayer every first Sunday evening of the month at 6:00 PM in the Main Sanctuary. This time of prayer is open to everyone, and we invite you to come together as a church family to pray. We look forward to praying with you!
Youth for Life Prayer Walk | September 12
Our youth group will be joining Love Life’s Youth for Life Prayer Walk as we stand together to fight for the sanctity of life. This is a powerful opportunity for our students to be a voice for the voiceless and seek the heart of God through peaceful prayer and worship.
There is no need to register for this event—just show up! However, if you would like to register with LoveLife to stay up to date with their information, you are welcome to do so.

Ladies, you’re warmly invited to join our Women’s Bible Study!
We meet on the second Saturday of each month from 10:00–11:30 a.m. for a time of meaningful study, encouraging fellowship, and spiritual growth as we dive into God’s Word together.
Childcare is provided during the study, making it easier for moms to attend and participate.
What to bring:
Your Bible, a notebook, and a pen
Your completed study questions (Don’t worry if you haven’t finished—come anyway!)
A heart ready to learn, grow, and be refreshed by God’s truth

Our Marriage Ministry meets on the last Sunday of every month at 6:00 PM, and we would love for you to join us!
This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other couples, strengthen your marriage, and grow together in your walk with the Lord. We are currently studying through the Word and enjoying meaningful discussion through breakout groups each month.
A friendly reminder: Children's Ministry is available during our meeting time. Please check your children in through KidCheck before dropping them off in class.
This gathering is open to all married and engaged couples. If you've never attended before, that's okay—we'd love to welcome you!

Baptism Sunday | October 4
We are excited to celebrate baptisms on Sunday, October 4, in the Main Sanctuary immediately following the service!
Baptism is an important step of obedience and a public expression of your faith in Jesus Christ. As we see in Acts 2:41, those who believed in Him were baptized—it's a meaningful response to the work God has done in your life. If you haven’t been baptized since placing your faith in Christ, we invite you to take this step.
Baptism Class (Required):
If you plan to be baptized, you must attend our mandatory class on Sunday, September 20, from 11:30 AM–12:30 PM in the Conference Room. In this class, we’ll walk through what baptism is, why it matters, and what to expect on the day of.
For Families:
We encourage parents to prayerfully guide their children in decisions of faith. For children under 12, we will meet with both the child and parent during the baptism class to ensure they understand and are ready.
Infant Baptism:
We do not baptize infants. Instead, we offer child dedications as a way for parents to commit their child to the Lord.

Servants Needed: Marriage Ministry Childcare
Our Marriage Ministry meets on the last Sunday of each month, and we’re looking for servants who would be willing to help provide childcare during these gatherings.
By serving the children for a couple of hours, you’re helping give husbands and wives an opportunity to invest in their marriages, grow together, and be encouraged in the Lord. It’s a simple way to serve that can make a big impact on families in our church!
To serve, you must:
- Have been attending Calvary Chapel Clayton for at least 6 months
- Complete and pass a background check
- Have a heart to serve our families and children
