First Priority Workshop | August 17
At Calvary Chapel Clayton, we have the opportunity to partner with an incredible ministry called First Priority.
Their vision is to see the hope of Christ in every student. They accomplish this by equipping students to reach their own campuses with the Gospel through student-led Bible clubs.
At its heart, First Priority is about students fulfilling the Great Commission by sharing Jesus with their classmates.
What makes First Priority unique is its focus on evangelism. The mission is to reach students who may never walk through the doors of a church, but who walk onto a school campus every single day. They are searching for hope, love, purpose, and belonging. First Priority equips student missionaries with the training, resources, and encouragement they need to boldly share the Gospel where they are every day.
But this ministry cannot happen without the local church.
Many of the lives being impacted are the result of faithful believers who have chosen to invest in the next generation by serving as campus volunteers, praying for students and school clubs, and giving financially to support this mission.
If the Lord is stirring your heart to get involved, simply click the link here to learn more. Whether God leads you to pray, serve on a campus, or give financially, your partnership can help bring the hope of Christ to students throughout our community.
If you'd like to learn more before getting involved, First Priority is hosting a volunteer workshop on Monday, August 17. This workshop will introduce you to the ministry, explain how campus clubs work, and equip you to serve confidently. You can register by clicking here and registering. We'd love to see many from our church take this next step and join us in reaching students with the hope of Christ.

Baptism Sunday | October 4
We are excited to celebrate baptisms on Sunday, October 4, in the Main Sanctuary immediately following the service!
Baptism is an important step of obedience and a public expression of your faith in Jesus Christ. As we see in Acts 2:41, those who believed in Him were baptized—it's a meaningful response to the work God has done in your life. If you haven’t been baptized since placing your faith in Christ, we invite you to take this step.
Baptism Class (Required):
If you plan to be baptized, you must attend our mandatory class on Sunday, September 20, from 11:30 AM–12:30 PM in the Conference Room. In this class, we’ll walk through what baptism is, why it matters, and what to expect on the day of.
For Families:
We encourage parents to prayerfully guide their children in decisions of faith. For children under 12, we will meet with both the child and parent during the baptism class to ensure they understand and are ready.
Infant Baptism:
We do not baptize infants. Instead, we offer child dedications as a way for parents to commit their child to the Lord.
If you would like to be baptized, please click the link here to sign up. We’re looking forward to celebrating what God is doing in your life!
