Missions

First Priority of America exists to educate, train, and provide resources for Christian students to legally form clubs and share the gospel with unbelieving students on the public school campus.  The students, youth pastors & faculty sponsors that partner with us all belong to a local congregation. Once a student receives Christ on campus, they are encouraged to connect to the body of Christ where they can grow in their new faith.

With Love From Jesus is a local outreach in Raleigh and Clayton that seeks to meet the spiritual and physical needs of the community. By providing food, clothes, and other necessities to those who are in need, With Love From Jesus also has the opportunity to share God’s Word and offer prayer. We contribute to this ministry by providing donations and volunteering at their building here in downtown Clayton every fifth Sunday.

Kingswood Reserve is an assisted living and memory care facility where we have the privilege of serving residents by bringing the hope and love of Jesus directly to them through a "church service." Through times of worship, sharing God’s Word, prayer, and personal connection, we seek to encourage, uplift, and remind each resident that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God. Our heart is to point each person to the lasting hope found in Christ.

The Miracle League is a local outreach where we have the joy of serving children and individuals with special needs by simply showing up, encouraging, and building meaningful relationships. Through being “buddies,” cheering them on, and creating a fun and supportive environment, we reflect the love of Jesus in a tangible way. This ministry is all about inclusion, joy, and reminding every participant and family that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God.

House of Hope is a local ministry in Clayton that serves vulnerable teenage girls and their families through Christ-centered care, offering a safe home, counseling, and support with the goal of bringing healing, hope, and restoration. We partner with House of Hope by donating needed supplies, serving the campus through hands-on projects, and opening our church building for special events like their graduations. It is a privilege to come alongside this ministry as they walk with young women and families toward healing, restoration, and new life in Christ.

Out Of Egypt Ministries is a non-profit Organization that originated from Calvary Chapel Old Bridge, New Jersey, and is a speaking platform for Patti Height. Using her personal experience of being freed from deception, pain, and a homosexual lifestyle through God’s Love and truth, Patti sheds light on effective ways for the church to minister to the LGBT Community with the gospel. Her desire is to equip the Church to reach, understand, and minister to those who associate with the LGBT Community as well as those within the church who struggle with same sex attraction.

Blue Letter Bible is an online platform which provides a digital Bible as well as digital tools that aid and accelerate In-depth studies of the Word. Some tools that they provide include a concordance, commentaries, charts, maps, timelines and more! They make these tools available to strengthen and equip God’s people at no cost to them.

With its goal to reach at-risk, inner city youth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Rock has grown to serve over 11,000 kids through sports, arts, music, recreation, mentoring and Bible studies. They also serve the community with outreaches, support for addicts and others in need, a food pantry, and most importantly the consistent teaching of the Word of God. The Rock has been privileged to witness God work in this very dark place. He is transforming lives and bringing hope to this otherwise hopeless inner-city ‘hood! He is the true Rock!

In June 2022, the Lord opened the door for Juan Carlos and Rebekah to travel to Guatemala to serve with the local churches there. Juan Carlos was invited by the organization Global Action to partake in the Foundations Program by teaching a class on Biblical Interpretation in two different towns. After serving with fellow missionaries and seeing the blessing the Foundations classes had on the local communities, Juan Carlos and Rebekah prayed about bringing the Global Action Foundation Program back to Cali. This ministry seeks to provide free biblical and theological training to vulnerable communities around the world to both men and women who are willing to attend the program. 

Kefas Momoh is the senior pastor at Calvary Chapel in Lagos, Nigeria. Like our congregation here in Clayton, they are committed to faithfully teaching God’s word, and reaching the area around them with the gospel. We were blessed to be able to send a missions team to Nigeria to serve with Pastor Kefas and the church in Lagos back in 2014, and we have been supporting the ministry there both financially and in prayer ever since. We are thankful for our brothers and sisters in Lagos. 

Luis Taborda is the senior pastor at Calvary Chapel Capilla Verdad in Cali, Colombia. Pastor Luis and the church minister to their community, and even partner with the churches in their surrounding area to spread the gospel. They evangelize within the city of Cali, and do outreaches beyond their immediate area as well. One of these outreaches takes place in a rough community called Aguablanca, where members of CC Capilla Verdad teach God’s word to the local children and worship with them. They also preach the Gospel at Fusion, a rehab facility for young men and boys who have struggled with drug addiction. Our church has had the opportunity to send missions teams to Cali five times in the past to serve with CC Capilla Verdad and be a part of what God is doing there. We continue to support their ministry both financially and in prayers.
