Following God Doesn’t Always Go as Planned

You prayed, made plans, and followed God—but things still didn’t turn out the way you expected. Does that mean something went wrong?

In this verse-by-verse teaching of Romans 15:22–33, “Following God Doesn’t Always Go as Planned,” Pastor Jeffrey Anderson explores Paul’s travel plans, ministry priorities, and heartfelt requests for prayer.

Paul wanted to visit Rome, but his journey would include imprisonment, a storm, and a shipwreck. His arrival looked different from what he envisioned, yet God continued working through him.

Discover how to hold your plans with open hands, remain faithful in your present responsibilities, serve others generously, and depend on God through prayer—even when the outcome is uncertain.

Your plans may change. God is still worthy of your trust.
