Frequently Asked Questions
What should my child bring?
Nothing but themselves! Just make sure they wear comfortable clothes and shoes, as we’ll be playing games and staying active each night.
Can parents stay?
VBS is a drop-off event. To help create a safe and secure environment, we only allow registered children and approved, background-checked volunteers in the program areas. Thanks for understanding!
What about allergies?
Please include all allergy information during registration so we can care for your child well and make any necessary accommodations.
What if I can't afford it?
We never want finances to stand in the way of a child experiencing VBS. Please reach out to our VBS Director, Creesha Jones, at kids@calvaryclayton.com, and we’ll gladly make a way for your child to attend.
What time does check-in and pick-up begin?
Check-in begins at 5:45 PM, and pick-up is promptly at 8:30 PM each evening.
How does check-in and pick-up work?
Parents will check their child in at the designated area each night and receive a secure pick-up tag. A parent or guardian must present the tag for pick-up.
Will snacks be provided?

Dinner will not be provided. We recommend that children eat before arriving each evening.

Please reach out to us ahead of time so we can best support your child and ensure they have a great experience.
What if my child doesn’t want to participate in an activity?
That’s okay! We encourage participation, but we never force it. Our leaders will help kids feel comfortable and included.
Can I register at the door?
We recommend registering ahead of time to secure your spot and speed up check-in. Limited walk-up registration may be available if space allows.
Can siblings be in the same group?
Groups are divided by grade, so siblings will only be placed together if they are in the same grade. This helps us create the best experience for all kids.
