The King Is Here: Repent and Believe

In this verse-by-verse teaching through Mark 1:14–15, titled “The King Is Here: Repent and Believe,” we hear Jesus announce that the time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God is at hand.
John has been imprisoned, but the message he prepared people to hear continues as Jesus begins preaching in Galilee. God’s promised King has arrived, and His announcement calls for a response: repent and believe the gospel.
Repentance means turning from sin and surrendering our claim to rule our own lives. Belief means more than knowing facts about Jesus; it means placing our trust in Him. The King is here. Will we turn from what rules us and trust Him?
